With four campuses throughout Nebraska, Doane University delivers rigorous programs to students living all over the state. Additionally, Doane's learning communities bring together like-minded students through service-learning and travel. Undergraduates can select from over three dozen majors including criminal justice, engineering, and health and society. Graduate degrees at this Nebraska university emphasize business and education. The Honors Program at Doane accepts academically talented freshmen. Program benefits include off-campus cultural events, priority registration, and study abroad scholarships. In their senior year, honors students complete a collaborative research project. Degree-seekers in the Honors Program must maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA to stay in good academic standing. Doane does not charge an application fee. Applicants with GED scores submit high school transcripts as well as ACT or SAT scores. Merit-based scholarship opportunities award up to $15,000 per year and can renew as long as students earn a 3.25 GPA each semester.

Retention Rate Insight
85% of full-time students stayed to continue their studies the following academic year. These students started in Fall 2019 and returned in Fall 2020.
Graduation Rate Insight
66% of students graduated out of all full-time, first-time students who began their studies in Fall 2014. Keep in mind many students who enroll are not typically first-time students, as most are adult learners. Therefore, the number of first-time students is traditionally low.
