Louisiana College is a private liberal arts college affiliated with the Louisiana Baptist Convention. In addition to programs in Christian studies and pastoral ministry, the college offers roughly 70 bachelor's and master's degrees in business, education, the natural sciences, and nursing. The school does not currently host any fully online programs. The college is committed to supporting the spiritual growth of its learners; as a result, all full-time students at LC must regularly attend chapel services. Additional student services include tutoring and academic advising; writing consultations; career and mental health counseling; and support specifically designed for students with disabilities, veterans, and international students. Undergraduate applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and take the ACT or SAT. To qualify for guaranteed admission as a freshman, you must maintain a high school GPA of at least 2.0 and receive a composite score of at least 20 on the ACT (or 1030 on the SAT).

Admissions Breakdown
Acceptance Rate Insight
11% of students were accepted during the 2020-2021 school year. Sometimes schools with midrange acceptance rates have higher standards of entry but are still accessible to many students who apply.
Retention Rate Insight
92% of full-time students stayed to continue their studies the following academic year. These students started in Fall 2019 and returned in Fall 2020.
Graduation Rate Insight
86% of students graduated out of all full-time, first-time students who began their studies in Fall 2014. Keep in mind many students who enroll are not typically first-time students, as most are adult learners. Therefore, the number of first-time students is traditionally low.
