Blue Mountain College is a liberal arts college affiliated with the Mississippi Baptist Convention. Founded as a women's college in 1873, BMC became fully coeducational in 2005 and now enrolls approximately 600 students each year. Small class sizes, personal attention, flexibility, and value help make BMC one of the best online colleges in Mississippi. Undergraduate students can choose from three program options in psychology or business administration, available as a bachelor of arts or science degree. Business administration students can further customize their curriculum with a concentration in marketing or management. BMC offers six annual start dates and courses last eight weeks. BMC does not charge an application fee. Undergraduate admission decisions are based upon prospective students' high school and/or college academic records and test scores. All online learners pay the same tuition rates, regardless of state residency.

Admissions Breakdown
Acceptance Rate Insight
29% of students were accepted during the 2020-2021 school year. Sometimes schools with midrange acceptance rates have higher standards of entry but are still accessible to many students who apply.
Retention Rate Insight
80% of full-time students stayed to continue their studies the following academic year. These students started in Fall 2019 and returned in Fall 2020.
Graduation Rate Insight
65% of students graduated out of all full-time, first-time students who began their studies in Fall 2014. Keep in mind many students who enroll are not typically first-time students, as most are adult learners. Therefore, the number of first-time students is traditionally low.
