Albertus Magnus College, a private Catholic liberal arts college based in New Haven, has designed innovative, accelerated courses for working adults since 1985. That tradition continues today with a variety of flexible associate and bachelor's degrees available in online and hybrid formats. Albertus offers academic programs in the arts and sciences, business and leadership, and social sciences. Many online programs offer accelerated schedules (six- or eight-week classes and two courses per term) that allow students to earn approximately 30 credits each year. Other available degrees include a master of science in clinical counseling, a master of fine arts in writing, and an MBA with six specialization options. Prospective Albertus students should submit an online application, college transcripts, photo identification, and a $35-$50 fee. Additional admission requirements may apply depending on program selection. State residency does not impact online students' tuition rates.

Admissions Breakdown
Acceptance Rate Insight
66% of students were accepted during the 2020-2021 school year. Sometimes schools with midrange acceptance rates have higher standards of entry but are still accessible to many students who apply.
Retention Rate Insight
87% of full-time students stayed to continue their studies the following academic year. These students started in Fall 2019 and returned in Fall 2020.
Graduation Rate Insight
73% of students graduated out of all full-time, first-time students who began their studies in Fall 2014. Keep in mind many students who enroll are not typically first-time students, as most are adult learners. Therefore, the number of first-time students is traditionally low.
